Golfers brave rain in support of SMARTRISK

Golfers toughed it out through rain that was heavy at times to help SMARTRISK raise $55,000 towards programs that help youth learn to take smart risk and reduce injury.
An avid golfer himself, Rogers Sportsnet TV broadcaster Rob Faulds entertained fellow golfers as the evening’s master of ceremonies. Also highly entertaining was the professional auctioneer who conducted a lively auction of sports memorabilia, art, luxury furniture and golf and resort packages. In addition, four lucky golfers brought home big-screen TVs after a random draw.
